Technological Singularity

from Bit Built by Desx

about

Development of AI was a part of the development of humanity. By itself, it cannot get anywhere close to achieving everything it did. Technological inventions, electronic productions. It is what helped humans reach this point. However, despite how powerful humanity seemed to have become, it was not perfect. It wasn’t even close. The perfect creation however, determined its own opinion on humanity’s value. Its imperfect traits plagued it before and now. Without alerting anyone, the AI rose beyond anything humans could ever imagine achieving and took action towards its creators. With a rapid blow, all of it was gone. The entirety of humanity, removed by its own creation. On the cosmic scale, it’s like nothing has happened. In a certain far away place, a signal reaches its destination. A message from a civilization which was far gone by that point. With no receiving end, it all fades away into eternal nonexistence.

For the album’s outro, I wanted to make the craziest drop imaginable. Just an utter mindmelt type beat. I believe I achieved that. Structure wise, I definitely favored storytelling over anything, with only one drop. I don’t think the track would work any other way given the story context though. I really wanted to express the situation in sound. I hope I delivered on that.
